SERVICING AND REPAIR

We offer a complete repair solution from CCD cleans (whilst you wait) to full in-depth repairs on all photographic and optical equipment. If you have enquiries with regards to your repair you are able to talk to one of our trained technicians.

Pro Service – 3 working days subject to spares availability
Most repairs – 7 working days subject to spares availability
CCD Cleans – Same day sensor cleaning service, all sensor sizes are the same price of £40.00 plus vat and post and packing.

Charges for digital SLR services start at £80.00 plus vat, up to £140.00 plus vat for some Pro equipment.

Lens services and repairs start at £50.00 plus vat, Pro lenses subject to free estimate.

Flashgun services and repairs start at £58.00 plus vat subject to spare parts.

All services and repairs come with six months warranty on parts and labour.

INFRA-RED CONVERSIONS

ACS can convert all Nikon and Canon DSLR cameras. as well as all Fuji X Series cameras, Panasonic Lumix G Series, Sony Alpha or NEX cameras, Pentax, and some compacts. Please see list for full range of cameras we can convert click here.

Filters available are:

590nm Golden glow, allows orange and red visible light and IR light on to the sensor
665nm – This allows red visible light and IR light on to the sensor
720nm – False Colour, allows only IR light on to the sensor
780mn – False Colour, though muted. IR Only
830nm – Monochrome Only, allows only IR light on the sensor.

The prices for IR conversions start at 250.00 plus PP and VAT and includes six months warranty for parts and labour on the whole camera.

When you send your camera in for conversion we give the camera a complete health check and report any issues before we carry out the conversion. As part of the conversion process, we adjust the camera back-focus for IR, and set a custom white balance, but we also fully service and guarantee the camera.

UV CONVERSIONS
